- Luis brings to Ethernovia more than 35 years of leadership experience in the semiconductor industry. Luis served as a senior executive at Qualcomm’s multi-billion dollar semiconductor business for over 18 years.
- As a founding member of Qualcomm’s semiconductor business, he held the position of Senior Vice President, leading QCT’s product management, marketing, and business development through its early start to industry market share leader in semiconductor and software solutions for mobile phones, PCs, tablets and wireless infrastructure.
- Luis is currently an executive advisor for several high-tech companies, both public and private. He has advised companies on systems, hardware, and software for wireless communication, automotive, artificial intelligence, computing and the consumer electronics industries
- He also serves on the Board of Directors for the UC San Diego Alumni Association, The Jacobs School of Engineering and the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering Corporate Board of Advisors.
- Luis holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, Jacobs School of Engineering, and an MBA from UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business.
