The Ethernovia team participated in the 2025 IEEE SA Ethernet & IP @Automotive Technology Day in Toulouse, France, joining ecosystem players from across Europe, North America, and Asia for a full two days of technical exchange and forward-looking discussion around in-vehicle networking.

The event provided a focused forum to explore where automotive Ethernet based architectures are heading, and how resilience, scalability, and diagnostics are becoming foundational requirements as vehicles evolve toward increasingly software-defined platforms.
Ethernovia’s lead architects contributed to the technical program with two well-received presentations. Max Turner delivered a session titled “Why TCP/IP and ISO/OSI Layering Is Essential for IVNs,” highlighting the importance of architectural discipline as networks scale in complexity. Brian Adams followed with “Enabling Resiliency in Automotive Networks for ASIL D Systems,” addressing design considerations critical to safety-focused automotive applications.

In parallel with the conference sessions, The Ethernovia team hosted a private meeting suite that enabled detailed conversations with OEMs, Tier 1s, and strategic partners throughout the event. The team conducted live demos and technical deep dives, creating a highly interactive setting that supported both commercial discussions and concrete architectural planning.

A particular point of interest across discussions was Ethernovia’s unique ForeSight DiagnosticsTM feature, which consistently resonated with attendees and sparked meaningful conversations around real-world deployment and operational impact. OEMs and Tier1s also highlighted how Ethernovia’s 7nm portfolio aligns with both near-term implementations and longer-term architectural transitions, supporting a wide range of current and future networking requirements.

The Toulouse event once again underscored the industry’s momentum around Ethernet-based automotive networks and the importance of cross-company collaboration in shaping what comes next. Ethernovia left the event energized by the dialogue, encouraged by the feedback, and looking ahead to continued engagement as vehicle architectures continue to evolve.
